The Solfatara is certainly the most interesting volcano of Campi Flegrei, a district to the north of Naples, consisting of about 40 volcanoes. It represents, with its extension of about 33 hectares, a nature refuge for an interesting walk with the presence of fumaroles, mofete and mud volcanoes, as well as forests and brush land. A quiet walk in an area rich in natural green. The visit at the Solfatara has ancient roots since it constituted a necessary step of the Grand Tour, the educational and entertaining travel that European aristocrats were already using to travel between Italy and France in the eighteenth century.
The Tour will continue on the boat Cymba, which has a large deck area and a large bottom window, that allows 48 passengers to observe villas, mosaics, and other treasures submerged under the sea level.
