Capo di Sorrento, a suggestive promontory west to the Bay of Sorrento, a hamlet of the municipality of Sorrento, in the district of Naples, houses the ruins of the famous Baths of Regina Giovanna and interesting remains of Roman time, such as those of Villa of Pollio Felice.

It is one of the most panoramic areas in the town of Sorrento which can be reached by going along the road from the old town centre towards Massa Lubrense. Since 30 A.D., in fact, the coasts of the Gulf of Naples were a privileged destination of Roman nobles', who began to inhabit the Neapolitan coastal strip by building impressive villas and residences. The crystal-clear sea of the Baths of Regina Giovanna can be reached through a characteristic path among citrus orchards which winds up from the imperial residence of Pollio Felice, a wonderful small inlet where Queen Johanna II of Anjou Durazzo loved diving.
