Procida is a small volcanic island formed from four craters. It is relatively unknown and mass tourism has not been developed. There are magnificent views and ruins of a Benedictine monastery. The island became internationally known through Lamartine’s novel “Graziella” and the movie “The Postman”. The local population is mainly made up of sailors and fishermen.
